Dr. Kent Saba and his family, Arizona natives, have a vibrant history in Arizona. In 1927 his grandfather, David Saba Sr., opened a dry-goods store in Chandler-a small thriving farming community in rural Arizona at that time. Dr. Saba’s parents, Norman and Terry, attended college at what is now Arizona State University. They married and raised two sons and three daughters. All five children completed their educations at Arizona universities.
Kent Paul Saba was born in 1956 in Mesa. He was raised in Chandler and graduated from Chandler High School in 1974. During high school, Dr. Saba was an active student participating in sports, clubs, and many other student activities. Following his graduation from Chandler High School, Dr. Saba attended The University of Arizona, graduating with a B.S. in Biology. An excellent student at The University of Arizona, Dr. Saba was accepted into the well-respected dental school at the University of Southern California and graduated in 1984. After graduation, Dr. Saba returned to his roots to establish his dental practice in Scottsdale where he continues to see patients two days per week. In October 1991, he opened his Sun Lakes office with Dr. Robert Romanin.
Dr. Saba has continued to learn lessons from his parents: community involvement, focus on family, and a strong professional reputation. His membership in the Scottsdale 20/30 Club and the Phoenix Chapters of the Boys and Girls Club has provided Dr. Saba with wonderful opportunities to serve his community. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, and the Spear Study Club. Dr. Saba and his wife of 24 years, Stacy, have two daughters: Alexa, who is employed with 3M, and Kendall, who is a Senior at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Saba’s “old school” values of commitment to his family, profession, and community remain to this day the basis of his character. Dr. Saba’s appreciation and gratitude for the 25+ years of support extended him by the friendly community of Sun Lakes is heartfelt. His commitment to providing professional, up-to-date dental care for his “family” in Sun Lakes will remain strong and unwavering.
Dr. Reed Chiappetti is an Arizona native. He was born in Scottsdale and raised in Prescott where he graduated from Prescott High School. Dr. Chiappetti loved sports and played Basketball and Football. He went on to receive his B.S. in Biology from Arizona State University and followed his family legacy to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California just like his grandfather, father, and two uncles before him. During his time at USC, he developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of oral health and the latest advancements in dental treatments. With a firm foundation in both traditional and cutting-edge techniques, he strives to offer personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Chiappetti has returned to Arizona and has been practicing with his father in Scottsdale and is now happy to be joining his uncle, Dr. Saba in Sun Lakes. Dr. Chiappetti uses conservative, biomimetic, and cosmetic techniques to practice general restorative dentistry. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Chiappetti enjoys hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and cheering on the Cardinals and Suns.
Dr. Chiappetti is committed to several study clubs and is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association. He also volunteers with Arizona Mission of Mercy to provide free dental care for the Phoenix community. Dr. Chiappetti’s training in restorative dentistry along with values that have been passed down from generations of dentists before him allow him to give the highest quality care to his patients.
Dr. Romanin opened our Sun Lakes office in October of 1991 with his friend and dental school classmate Kent Saba. Dr. Romanin passed away in 2023. We are honored to have had him in our office and serving the Sun Lakes Community for over 30 years.

Registered Dental Hygienist
I have been in dentistry for over 45 years. I started my career as a Dental Assistant and then became a Licensed Dental Hygienist in 1983. I’ve had the honor of working with Dr. Saba & Dr. Romanin for the past 16+ years in a practice that strives for excellence and perfection and genuinely cares about every single patient. I take a lot of pride in my work and feel I have a high level of professionalism and a strong sense of compassion. In addition to being in a general practice, I have also had 22 years of periodontal experience. Working in Sun Lakes has allowed me to take care of so many amazing people/patients, whom I have gotten to know very well over the years. I look forward to coming to work every day to do the things I love to do.
